Patient participation group

The aims of the patient participation group

If you would like to join our friendly PPG group, here is a little bit more information about what to expect when you come to our meetings.

  • The group meets quarterly for approximately one and a half hours; a range of speakers attend to give an update on the services they and their colleagues provide.
  • Receive updates about the Practice and learn of any proposed changes we plan to make.  We value your feedback.
  • To offer opinions in a constructive manner and to put forward ideas on behalf of other patients.
  • To improve the provision of health care.
  • To improve communication between surgery, patients and the wider community about matters concerning the surgery and health in general.
  • To provide assistance in development of new services.
  • To encourage a spirit of self help and support amongst patients to improve their health and social care.

If you are unable to attend the meetings in person, please let us know, we can always arrange to post or email you minutes of our meetings.  You can also send in your ideas and comments - we will be sure to include them in our next planned meeting.
