Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about appointment availability and applicable charges.
We appreciate that youngsters may find it difficult to approach staff at the health centre who are quite often much older than themselves. To improve this we arrange training for the medical receptionists on how to welcome and support young people.
We provide general health care to young people including screening for STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), health promotion, family planning and contraception services. A nurse-led family planning clinic is held weekly at the health centre on Thursdays between 14:30 - 16:30. An appointment is not necessary.
